The New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for the Twifo Atti-morkwa constituency in the Central region Mr. Ebenezer Obeng Dwamena has described the pairing of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh as the perfect pair in the history of Ghana’s political landscape.
This, according to him is a glaring sign of the party “Breaking the 8” ambition.
Mr. Obeng Dwamena maintained that Dr. Bawumia as vice president has transformed the country’s economy through digitalization indicating that the introduction of Ghana card, e-passport, e-pharmacy, mobile money intteroperability, making ECG cashless and self renewal of NHIS at the comfort of your home.
He emphasized that, “All these significant digital interventions by the vice president coupled with the knowledge repository of Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh who supervised a smooth implementation of the unprecedented Free SHS policy as education minister and the stabilization of the power crisis as energy minister”.
Admonishing Ghanaians to vote the pair into power in December, the NPP PC noted that Ghanaians will enjoy more prosperous economic growth and developments under the Bawumia/NAPO administration.

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, on Tuesday July 9, 2024 was officially unveiled as the NPP’s running mate in the Ashanti region.
