The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has engaged constituents of the Gomoa East, Awutu Senya West, Effutu and Gomoa West constituencies in the Central Region as part of his ongoing constituency-focused campaign.
He noted that, “from expanding opportunities for businesses, through improved welfare for persons with disabilities, to reducing the cost of living, my vision for the present and future is designed to positively impact every Ghanaian”.
Dr. Bawumia’s policies for Ghana’s next chapter include tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, among other game-changing policies.
He has expressed appreciation for their warm reception and has urged them to play active roles in deciding Ghana’s next chapter by voting massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
