However, seasoned journalist, Paul Adom Otchere believes the protestors of the new trend #FixTheCountryNow are only blowing hot air.
The host of Good Evening Ghana show who many claimed he is supposedly supporting the ruling New Patriotic Party, tweeted “Until February 2020,ย Nana Akufo-Addo and Ken Ofori-Atta had grown this economy better than they inherited even with a significant social intervention in education whilst discharging significant legacy debts.”
Reacting to Adom Otchere’s post, colleague media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah also tweeted telling the host of Good Evening Ghana to be bold to tell Akufo-Addo’s Government to Fix the problems of the country.
“For once, be brave and tell this administration led by @NAkufoAddo to #FixTheCountry and stop dragging others in. Is John Mahama our President? CSOs, Media? Did we elect them? Stop this life!!” Nana Aba tweeted
Paul Adom Otchere responded to Nana Aba Anamoah saying “@thenanaaba my dear, how are you, please am often bold, but as I just said on TV this evening, I think we should put this #FixIt discussion in a proper economic context. COVID-19 turned our economy upside down.
Many Twitter users have expressed their displeasure on Twitter regarding the high cost of living, power crisis, poor quality of life, unemployment and economic hardship.
