Information gathered by Republic Online indicates that four (4) farmers have been gunned down by Fulani herdsmen in Dawadawa and Kawampe, a farming community in the kintampo North District of the Bono East Region .

The community folks are blaming the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) for breach of security and are calling for immediate transfer of police commander Mr Ghampson.

It’s not clear what possibly led to the killing of the four farmers. Over the years, farmers in most part of the country have been experiencing severe attacks by fulani herdsmen who only do not destroy their vegetations but ends up taking their lives.

Republic Online is keenly following the situation and will provide the necessary updates when necessary.
