A district court in Bibiani has remanded three individuals into police custody over an alleged attempt to bury a baby alive at Abofrem in the Atwima Mponua District.

The accused include Apostle Richmond Frimpong, 36, who leads the Annointed Grace Prayer Ministry at Kuffuor Camp, along with Beatrice Agyapomaa, 23, and Emmanuel Appiah, 53. They are facing four counts of attempted murder.

A fourth suspect, identified as Emmanuel Donkor, is currently at large.

During proceedings, defence counsel Francis Kyei Badu requested bail for the accused, but the application was denied. He indicated that the court did not have jurisdiction to grant bail and said steps are being taken to seek bail at the High Court.
