The Birim North District will host the 40th Eastern Regional Farmers’ Day celebration at Akyem Nkwateng, according to the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Raymond Nana Damptey.
He made this announcement during a workshop organized for Assembly Members in the district.
Mr. Damptey explained that the event, typically held on December 3, has been moved to November 8 this year due to the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
He added that the Assembly, in collaboration with the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council, selected Akyem Nkwateng as the ideal venue for this year’s celebration.
Preparations for the event, according to the DCE, have been exceptional, ensuring a well-organized and memorable occasion.
