Birim North NPP Parliamentary hopeful donates to Churches

An NPP Parliamentarian Hopeful, Hon. Frank Ahemah Mireku has once again kept his feet as indeed, a good servant of the people of the Abirem and its environs in the Birim North constituency.

An NPP Parliamentarian Hopeful, Hon. Frank Ahemah Mireku has once again kept his feet as indeed, a good servant of the people of the Abirem and its environs in the Birim North constituency.

The Benevolent MP hopeful defied all odds amidst the hikes and difficulties during the hard times of the dreaded covid-19 pandemic over the weekend and spent thousands of Ghana Cedis to churches in his jurisdiction.

Hon Ahimah, who is hoping to ascend the Birim North seat as the chosen party candidate, is also pulling all strings to ensure his success in the forthcoming 2024 General elections.

Information gathered regarding donations established that, most of the giveaways were made during the 2021 festive season.

Among the many churches who benefited from the MP hopeful’s donation are Akuase Presby Church – Emmanuel Congregation which received one thousand cedis and fifty bags of cement, Akuase Presby church, Peace Congregation received one thousand cedis and fifty bags of cement, Pankese Pentecost, Central Assembly had one  thousand, Pankese Pentecost – Bethel assembly received Gh500.

Also, Bramkrom – Pentecost had Gh500, Akyekyeresu receieved Gh500, Akuase – Assemblies Of God received Gh2,000, Nwinso – community Harvest alps received Gh2,000 and 100 bags of cement, Nwinso – Pentecost Church had Gh2,000, Amuana Praso – Roman Catholic also had Gh2,000.

Other churches which received some of the donations include Amuana Praso – Pentecost Church which had Gh2,000 and 20 bags of cement, Adadekrom Presby received Gh1,000 and 20 bags of cement, Mpintimpi Presby church got Gh2,000 and tiling of the entire floor of the church.

Mpintimpi – Pentecost Church received Gh1,000 and 20 bags of cement, Afosu – Presby received Gh2,000 and 50 bags of cement, Afosu – Only Jesus Power ministry got Gh1,000 and 50 bags of cement.

Additionally, Abirem – Presby Emmanuel Congregation received Gh1,000, Abirem – Presby New sure Assembly received Gh1,000 and 50 bags of cement, Hweakwae – Presby Victory congregation got Gh1,000 whiles Adeisina – Methodist church received Gh1,000 respectively.

The MP hopeful also has a strong background in the construction, having build many schools around the country on contractual basis.

Meanwhile, the former NPP constituency secretary when he last had encounter with Kwame Koranteng on Anɔpa Dawuro on Republic Fm indicated that, as part of his political ambitions, there was the need for him to start from his own home, which in return would give him the opportunity to serve his people.

The party’s primaries in the constituency last election year saw the MP hopeful being detained by five police officers over an untenable claims of defrauding under force pretense at the Koforidua Regional Coordinating Council whilst on his way for Vetting by the Regional Executive Committee.

Upon further checks, no complainant was found until one Emmanuel Damptey was said to have initiated the complaint.

The schemed and gibberish political machinations were described as dumbfounded and untenable by the Hon Frank Ahemah.

Hon Ahemah disclosed that, what happened was a political mafia after the Regional Police Operations director said he must be released on basis of political Mafia.

Concurrently, Hon Frank is averred his commitment and said, he is ready for take on the mantle in the 2024 elections and shall not be discouraged by any means or whatsoever.

The former teacher and head of science at the Abirem Secondary school last year, donated an amount of Gh10,000 to his alma mater, St. Peter’s secondary during the 2001 year group anniversary.
