The Black Meteors departed Accra on Monday afternoon to make their way to Egypt, where they will continue camping ahead of the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The first batch of the team is expected to arrive on Monday evening in Cairo, whiles the others will join them later in the week.

Meanwhile, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer who are on assignment with the Black Stars will join the rest of the Meteors squad on June 18 after the match against Madagascar.
Ibrahim Tanko’s men will play two friendly matches in Egypt as part of their preparations on June 15 and 19, before heading out to Morocco where the tournament will be held.
The competition is set to begin on June 24, and end on July 8, 2023.
