The Ghana Police Service has arrested Samuel Amadotor for allegedly publishing false and damaging information about Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio I, former board chair of the National Communication Authority and traditional leader.
The arrest, confirmed on November 20, 2025, was made with support from the National Signals Bureau (NSB) following a complaint from the traditional leader.
During questioning, Amadotor admitted to spreading the false information and claimed he was acting on instructions from a man identified as Chairman Michael Yeboah, who is now in hiding.
Amadotor remains in custody and is expected to appear in court on November 21, 2025, as police continue their investigation into what appears to be a coordinated attempt to defame the traditional leader.
