Dozens feared dead after truck carrying fuel overturns and catches fire in Bogoso
An eye witnesses has recounted his experience regarding that gas explosion in Apenti, a community near Bogoso in the Western Region.
In his narration, he said human bodies were mutilated, buildings and other structures were completely destroyed following the explosion.
“It is as if we are in a war torn country,” he said.
Rescue efforts have been intensified following the incident.

A huge explosion occurred this afternoon, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Apiate between Bogoso and Bawdie in the Western Region.
The Police and other emergency service providers have activated a full emergency recovery exercise.
