Bomfa-Achiase Chief gives 200 acres of land to Gov’t for affordable housing project

The Operations Manager of State Housing Company (SHC), Mr Daniel A Dwamena has commended the Chiefs of Bomfa-Achiase Traditional area in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region for gifting over 200 acres of land to the company for the construction of affordable estates for the people in the municipal.

The Operations Manager of State Housing Company (SHC), Mr Daniel A Dwamena has commended the Chiefs of Bomfa-Achiase Traditional area in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region for gifting over 200 acres of land to the company for the construction of affordable estates for the people in the municipal.

The Operations Manager, Mr Daniel A Dwamena took the opportunity to thank the Chief of Bomfa-Achiase, Nana Tabono Bonsu lll for gifting large tract of lands to the company for free of charge.

With properties located all over the country, SHC holds up Its mandate to provide quality and affordable housing to all Ghanaians “he said”.

He gave the assurance that very soon work will begin on the said land for the people of the municipality to have a feel of the homes of SHC.

According to him Mr Daniel A Dwamena, State Housing Company (SHC) is keen on delivering on social housing for many Ghanaians across the country.

‘We are poised on delivering social housing for the ordinary Ghanaians to catch up with the housing deficit in the country he said.

He added that, SHC does not calculate its profit like the private sector hence SHC houses being on the low side to enable the ordinary the Ghanaian afford houses in the Country.

However, the Chief of Bomfa-Achiase Nana Tabono Bonsu lll lauds State Housing Company for their efforts to build affordable estates in his community.

He therefore calls on Ghanaians to work hand in hand to build a strong and vibrant Nation.
