Bournemouth have completed signing of Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo from Bristol City for initial fee of £9 million and an additional £1.5 million in add-ons.

Semenyo signed a four-and-half-year contract with the premier league side, with the Cherries having an option to extend for a further year.

The 23-year-old made 125 appearances for Bristol City, scoring 21 goals and registering 22 assists.

In his last appearances for the championship side, he has scored four goals, and would relish to continue his fine form at Bournemouth when they meet Brighton on February 4, where he could make his debut.

The forward was part of the Ghana national team at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where he was used as a substitute in Ghana’s game against Portugal.
