Bryan Acheampong Campaign takes off tomorrow

New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate hopeful, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, will start his Eastern Region campaign tomorrow, Wednesday, September 24, as part of widest efforts to mobilize the party’s base in the forthcoming Presidential Primaries slated for January 31, 2026.

Per an itinerary obtained by Republic Online, the Abetifi Lawmaker will begin his journey from Abirem, where he will meet oaryy delegates at 1pm and subsequently proceed to Ofoase-Ayirebi and Oda respectively. In essence, he’s covering three diversify constituencies daily.

The tour is expected to come to an end on October 23, 2025.


Dr. Bryan Acheampong has earlier made an announcement at a Press briefing with the Eastern Regional media, held at the Prestigious Rock City Hotel at Nkwatia-Kwahu on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

The campaign is a one-month undiluted engagement with party delegates, who will partake in the selection of a new Presidential candidate for the NPP.

As part of the engagement, Dr. Bryan Acheampong had with some 800 party delegates at Nkwatia-Kwahu durbar on Thursday, September 18, where he later met additional delegates through to the weekend.

He noted at the press briefing that, within one month, he will visit three constituencies daily in order to synchronize his campaign message properly with the delegates.

Among his message for party faithfuls is unity. Dr. Bryan Acheampong has been preaching unity since he joined the lists of the NPP Presidential hopefuls. He believes that, NPP’s current situation requires a new face and fresh brain to secure victory for the party in the 2028 General elections.

He has announced three top-tier priority for Ghana if given the opportunity to become flagbearer and subsequently lead the nation. Part of these ideas are Infrastructure, Security and Jobs creation for the Ghanaian Youth.

As an IT magnate, Dr. Bryan Acheampong describes himself as the ‘real digital man’ who has mastered all the techniques in IT, information systems and security intelligence.

His attribution as an established kwahu-business native cannot be overlooked. He has established several successful companies, ranging from Tourism, IT, Real Estate and Media. His vast expertise across all sectors puts him ahead of his peers as the best person to lead the NPP party and Ghana in general.

The immediate-past Agric Minister filed his nomination forms on Wednesday, August 28 at the NPP headquarters in Asylum Down following an earlier post on Facebook on Tuesday, August 27, announcing the filing of his forms. He was accustomed to a large crowd, cheering and chanting his name.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong is one of the officially-known faces to contest for the New Patriotic Party’s 2026 Presidential Primaries.

He comes with experience, focus on youth, Job creation, Agric and high-standard governance to articulate the potential of the ordinary Ghanaian.

On Thursday, August 29, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) confirmed that five aspirants have successfully filed their nomination forms to contest in the party’s upcoming presidential primary.
In a statement issued by the Presidential Elections Committee , the aspirants were listed as follows:

Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong

Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong

Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong

H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum

The Committee recalled that nominations were officially opened on July 29, 2025, by the General Secretary on behalf of the National Council for party members interested in vying for the flagbearer slot.

Secretary to the Committee, William Yamoah, assured stakeholders of a transparent, credible, and fair electoral process, guided by the party’s constitution and regulations.
