The  Deputy Minister for Health, Mahama Asei Seini has reiterated the NPP Government’s commitment to building more Hospitals across the country to improve quality health care delivery.

Mr Asei who is also the Member of Parliament for Daboya-Mankarigu Constituency said there are some districts in the country unfortunately without Hospitals but the “Agenda 111” project has come on board to solve this serious problem and take health delivery to the doorstep of every Ghanaian.

He made this observation during the commissioning of an ultra-modern Health facility (LEYAATA HOSPITAL) in the Bole District of Savannah Region which was built by the North Empowerment Association (a Canada-based NGO).

The Deputy Health Minister finally praised the CEO of the Hospital and his partners for bringing such relief to the people of the Savannah Region.

On his part, the CEO of the LEYAATA HOSPITAL, Dr David Mensah who doubles as the Gyaasehene of Mo Traditional Council revealed that the facility will not only serve the people of Savannah Region but Ghana as a whole.

He called on the Government to bring more Health practitioners to start working immediately so that health delivery will be effective and efficient.

Dr David Mensah said the Hospital will not depend on the Government for its running even if NHIA claims are paid or not.
