A 19-year old boy, identified as Shadrach, has allegedly killed his Aunty, Maame Ataa, a 65 year old woman at Assin Dompim in the Assin Fosu Municipal.
The sad incident reportedly happened in the deceased bedroom after the suspect entered her room to demand for money few minutes after she returned from a cocoa purchasing clerk.
The suspect after committing the act fled through the window and later reported himself to the police.
Some neighbors who were eyewitnesses have expressed shocks by the act committed by a 19-year old boy.
The Assemblyman for Assin Dompim Hon. Emmanuel Konko confirmed the incident to press men and together with the police have conveyed the body to St. Francis Xavier Hospital pending autopsy while the suspect remains in police custody.
