A 25-year-old man who claims to be a Mallam, John Afedzi has allegedly defiled a six-year-old KG2 pupil in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira district of Central region.
The mother of the victim, Madam Sarah Antwi explained that she observed a total change of pattern in her daughter’s walking.
She added that the child cries profusely anytime she is urinating, so she approached her daughter to find out why all these sudden ill changes on the girl, and she realized that, somebody had defiled her.
Madam Sarah Antwi immediately reported the matter to the Twifo Ampekro Shed unit committee.
After thorough investigations by the unit committee, it was pointed out that Mallam John Antwi also known as A.T is allegedly responsible for the incident.
The parents then took the victim to the Twifo Praso district hospital where it was also confirmed that some forceful friction had taken place in the child’s genitals.
According to Madam Sarah, as a result, her daughter cannot walk, can’t eat, always wears pampers and above all goes through severe pains when she is urinating.
The Hemang police in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira district is currently investigating the matter.
