The New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya West constituency, Eugene Arhin, has donated some educational equipment including a computer and mathematical sets to the Awutu Senya West District Education Directorate.
Demonstrating his commitment to education, the donation was marked by a gathering of notable personalities including DCE Moses Arhinful Acquah, former DCE Stephen Quaye, Electoral Area Coordinator for Awutu, Mr. Patrick Brobbey, and other party faithful.
Receiving the computer on behalf of the Directorate, the district director of education Mr. Isaac Acquah Arhin, expressed his profound gratitude for the generous donation and acknowledged the substantial contributions Eugene Arhin has made to the education sector within the constituency.
“Your contributions have significantly improved the educational landscape of our constituency. We look forward to your continued assistance and remain committed to working together for the betterment of our schools and students”, he said.
Eugene Arhin, in his remarks, highlighted that approximately 60% of the interventions he has made in the Awutu Senya West constituency have been focused on education.
He elaborated on various projects he has undertaken, such as the construction of a library and ICT Centre at Beraku, a 3-unit classroom block at Obodakaba, another 3-unit classroom block for the Islamic Nuriya School in Bawjiase, and the presentation of school buses to Senya SHS and Bawjiase SHS.
Additionally, he mentioned the construction of boreholes for Obrachire SHS and Senya SHS, further underscores his dedication to enhancing educational facilities.
“I firmly believe in the transformative power of education. It is through education that we can uplift our community and provide better opportunities for our children. My efforts in this sector are a testament to my commitment to seeing Awutu Senya West flourish”, he said.
He also assured the district education directorate of his continued support and expressed his hopes for the directorate’s backing for his candidature and that of the NPP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
