The Member of Parliament for Gomoa East Constituency in the Central Region, Hon Desmond Degraft Paitoo has been robbed by some unknown persons at his residence in Accra on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
The suspected robbers, forcibly took away valuables belonging to the MP, including perfumes, among others.
Narrating the incident, Hon Paitoo said he returned home late from Parliament last night and woke up in the morning to see the mess in his living room.
He explained that the robbers managed to cut his electric fence on top of his wall, destroyed the burglar proof and managed to enter through the living room.
The MP has reported the case to the police but no arrest has been made.
