C/R: Man, 40, commits suicide with ‘Bicycle Brake Cable’ at Senya Beraku

Residents, School pupils, and teachers of St Anthony Basic School in Senya Beraku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region were thrown into a state of shock when they found a man hanging dead with a bicycle brake wire tied around his neck.

Residents, School pupils, and teachers of St Anthony Basic School in Senya Beraku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region were thrown into a state of shock when they found a man hanging dead with a bicycle brake wire tied around his neck.

The body of the deceased has been removed and conveyed by police to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.

The deceased was a known umbrella repairer in the community.

Information gathered also indicates the deceased was heard complaining about his marital Issues after he was intoxicated in alcohol.

Assemblyman for the Ndadetor/Akotokyia Electoral Area in Senya Beraku, Kwaku Abdallah told Bryt FM that the incident happened early hours of Monday, July 12, 2021 and that the police have conveyed the body to the Trauma Hospital Morgue.

The Assemblyman has stated, they Suspect foul Play in the death of the man.

He said, the deceased was not a native of the community but settled there to work.
