The police have arrested suspect Wofa Samuel Armah, aka Kofi Nyan, for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl after he accused the victim of stealing his Ghc800.
In a viral video, Kofi Nyan, a 49-year-old fisherman, is heard telling the minor, while he was on top of her, that she had to endure the sexual act in repayment of an GHC 800 she allegedly stole from him.
The incident is said to have happened at Mudford, a suburb of Apam in the Central Region.
The fisherman told her he was sleeping with her till 12 pm to teach her a lesson despite the victim’s protesting against the act.
Though the victim begged Nyan to stop so she could find the money for him, he refused, saying he knew she didn’t have that type of money.
He then urged her to endure the sexual activity, which would cost her GHC 200 per hour in payback for the stolen money.
He was heard saying, “Me w)w de ate ka, one hour biaa ye ¢200, to wit “I will sleep with you in exchange for the money, every one hour is ¢200.”
The suspect is said to have lured the victim into a ghetto at Mudford to defile her.
He has since been arrested and will be put before court.
Four accomplices, according to police sources, are on the run.
