A 33-year-old man, Godwin Agelooro has been found dead at a roadside at Dunkwa Kyekyewere Station in Upper Denkyira area of the Central Region.
Reports indicate that the incident happened after the deceased was involved in a confrontation at a drinking spot in the community where he was partying.
The deceased’s brother, Akazine narrates that a lady approached his brother and touched his dreadlocks without his consent and when the deceased confronted her, a man believed to be the lady’s boyfriend intervened leading to a heated argument. This escalated into a physical fight but the situation was later brought under control.
Mr. Akazine said a second altercation reportedly occured when the deceased returned to the area but was later found dead in the early hours of Monday January 5, 2026.
The body has been deposited in the Dunkwa Hospital Morgue for preservation and further examination as police investigates the cause of death.
