A Nigerian national believed to be in his late 30s has been arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at Nkwatanan Teachers City in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The victim, a seamstress apprentice was returning home with her younger sister when the suspect dragged her into a bush, covered her mouth, and forcibly had sex with her while threatening her with a knife.
The victim’s sister managed to escape to seek help from some okada riders nearby, but upon their return, the suspect had fled.
