Security officers in Central Region have arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in illegal wood cutting activities, as part of ongoing efforts to curb environmental crimes.
According to police sources, the suspects were apprehended following intelligence gathered from residents who reported suspicious logging activities in a forested area within the region. Acting swiftly on the information, law enforcement officers moved to the location and arrested the two men while they were allegedly engaged in cutting timber without the required authorization.
