Champions of the 2023/2023 betPawa Ghana Premier League, Medeama SC have now seen their opponent for the preliminary round of the qualifiers for the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League.
The Tarkwa based club will play against their Nigeria counterpart Remo Stars Football Club in the first round of the preliminary.
Medeama will first host Remo Stars at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in August 18-20.
They will travel to Nigeria a week after for the second leg of the tie.
The winner of the match advances to the next round and will play Horoya SC of Guinea.
After competing in the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup in 2016, Medeama is aiming to return to the group stage of a CAF club event.
