Management of CAN radio at Nkenkaasu in the Offinso North District has made a generous donation to the Ashan orphanage home at Danase -Afigya Kwabre North in the Ashanti Region.
Items donated include, bags of rice, boxes of oil, tins of tomatoes, drinks, biscuits, toiletries, and some clothes.
The station management gesture aims to assist orphans in celebrating the Christmas festivities because that is one of the priorities of the CEO, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim. (MP for Offinso North).
In an interview with newsmen, the marketing manager of the station, OBREMPONG NANA OSEI KWAME, who presented the items on behalf of the station, said, “It’s time for them to cater for the needy because it is in the Bible that “Blessed is the merciful for they shall obtain mercy,” he quoted.
He also made it clear that this is not going to be the last thing as an institution but they are hoping to do more henceforth.
Mr. Williams Asirifi Tenkorang, supervisor at Ashan Orphanage Home, received the items and expressed his gratitude to CAN Media for the gesture.
