Some farmers in an interview stated that, since the cashew is always purchased by individual companies, the pricing is not stable which always affect the farmers who are into full time cashew farming.

They lamented high labour cost, high cost of pesticides and other inputs for the farming of cashew.

They are pleading with government to operationalize the proposed Cashew Board which they said will help fix the price of cashew for the subsequent seasons.
