Ghana is through to the 2023 edition of the CHAN tournament after edging out Nigeria in the final qualifying match.
The Black Galaxies emerged 4-5 winners the penalty shoot outs after the Super Eagles managed to level up the 2-0 deficit they suffered in Cape Coast last weekend.
The Super Eagles left it late to take the game into penalty shoot outs after scoring on the 76th minute and the 94th minute respectively.
The win gives Ghana a slot in next years CHAN, a feat that has alluded the nation since 2014.
The contingent made up of players, technical staff and management members arrived in Accra on late on Saturday after making a trip from Abuja- Accra via a Ghana Airforce flight.
