Check Regional breakdown of NPP Presidential Primary voter population

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will hold its presidential primary on January 31, 2026, to elect a flagbearer for the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.

The contest features former Vice President and 2024 presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia; former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong; former Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum; former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr Bryan Acheampong; and former General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyepong.

In all, 211,849 delegates are expected to cast their ballots at 333 polling centres located across the country’s 276 constituencies.

Voting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. and close at 2:00 p.m.

Below is a regional breakdown of the voter population.
