Former Brighton and Newcastle manager Chris Hughton has been appointed as the new head coach of the Black Stars.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced on Sunday evening that the 64-year-old has been been named to take charge of the team.
According to the FA, the decision to name Hughton is in line with the FA to “continue with the project of building a formidable squad that started with Otto Addo in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament”.
