The Christ Mission B2 branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ablekuma North Constituency of the Greater Accra region, has elected new branch executives.
The 15 branches of the Kwashiebu Ward election, were supervised by the Constituency executives of the party.
The election of officers to lead the party at the branch level, which is the first leg in the series of internal elections of the NDC, has been divided into four zones namely, Northern, Middle, and Southern, with the Ashanti and Eastern regions.
A former Press attaché to the late former President Evans Atta Mills, Mr Seth Ofori-Ohene took the executives-elect through the process of the swearing-in and the purpose of the gathering.
He charged them to be committed, dedicated, and hardworking branch executives to help propel the party to win power in 2024.
“If you know you don’t have time, refrain from taking the oath of office. The focus of the branch executives should be about winning election 2024,” he stressed.
“Don’t let your loyalty be with any single individual, but with NDC, there are responsibilities attached to the position you are holding,” he bemoaned.
The swearing-in attracted many dignitaries, including Constituency Chairman, Constituency Vice Chairman, Constituency Secretary, Constituency Organizer and many other executives.
Mr Robert Kudzonu Mensah was elected as chairman, where he calls everybody to join hands to work hard to win the Ablekuman North constituency for the party.
