Hatayspor Vice President, Mustafa Özat has indicated that Christian Atsu and Director Taner Savut are still under the rubble and all efforts are being made to rescue them.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle forward has been trapped under rubble for hours caused by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey.
Both Atsu, 31, and his Hatayspor Sporting Director Taner Savut were left under rubble after the quake, leading Turkish sports presenter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reported.
Recent reports from Turkey reveal that both Christian Atsu and Taner Savut are still under the rubble and efforts are being made to reach them.
Hatayspor Vice President also urged the World to pray for Atsu and all those stuck under the rubble.
Earlier reports from Ghanaian sports journalist, Saddick Adams also indicated that Christian Atsu was on the 9th floor of the collapsed building with 9 other players and 2 officials.
Three players and one official have been rescued. Officials of the club are still at the site as the search continues.
