Coach Otto Addo has announced his 55-preliminary squad for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Three local players made the squad that was announced by the head coach.
These players are Dennis Korsah and Afriyie Barnieh from Accra Hearts of Oak, and Ibrahim Danlad representing Kotoko respectively.
Salis Abdul Samed, Patrick Kpozo, Kamal Sowah, Ernest Nuamah, Mudasiru Salifu and Mohammed Dauda are some new players that have been added to the squad as well.
The manager has a big task of selecting the final 26, who will represent the country in Qatar.
Ghana has been placed in Group H together with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
