The Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has announced his final 26-man squad for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the global showpiece in Qatar after missing out on the last edition in 2018. Ghana qualified for the mundial after defeating Nigeria in the final playoff games.
European-borns such as Inaki Williams and Tariq Lamptey who switched their international allegiance to represent Ghana at the senior level earned a spot in the Black Stars’ final squad list for the World Cup.
Notable absentees from the final squad are Jeffrey Schlupp of Crystal Palace and Hamburg SV forward Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer
