Come Study International, an educational consultancy, will launch its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Sole for Souls, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Chorkor Presby School in Accra.
The initiative will provide 300 pairs of shoes to children in need, including 270 pairs for students at Chorkor Presby School and 30 for Narung Basic School in Ghana’s Northern Region.
Scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM (GMT), the project aims to give children a sense of hope and confidence.
“For many of these children, a simple pair of shoes is not just a necessity but a symbol of hope and an opportunity to walk confidently into a brighter future,” said Ms. Adelaide Aba Ansah, Managing Partner of Come Study International.
This initiative forms part of the organization’s broader mission to support education while addressing barriers hindering children’s development. Over the past decade, Come Study International has undertaken various CSR projects, including Academic Excellence Awards, Library Projects, and support for underprivileged families, all aimed at empowering communities.
To ensure the success of Sole for Souls, the organization is calling on the public to contribute through donations, purchasing branded souvenirs, or helping spread the word. Donations can be made using the shortcode 71333*217#, and further inquiries can be directed to +233 (0)23 441 5005.
Ms. Ansah encouraged people to support the cause, stating, “You don’t need to be wealthy to lend a helping hand. Be the answer to someone else’s prayer, and you will restore faith in humanity once again.”
Come Study International continues to bridge gaps in education through one-on-one counseling, university application assistance, and initiatives like Sole for Souls, which resonate with their commitment to creating lasting impacts in underserved communities.
