Community hails International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa for providing clean drinking water

The community of Mmapehia, Ga South District, Greater Accra Region, has expressed gratitude to International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa for providing them with clean drinking water. Hon. Martin H. Macadu, Assembly Member for the area, thanked the organization for their efforts, stating that the community’s tears have been wiped away regarding the issue of drinking water.

Nii Asuku Obinboawu 1, Chief of Mmapehia District, also commended the organization’s work and donated an acre of land for the construction of a healthcare center or clinic.

Nii Offei Nkwantabisa IV, a native of the town and kingmaker of Pokuase, Accra, donated his four-bedroom apartment for use as a clinic or healthcare center.

 

The community also donated 22 acres of land for the construction of a second-cycle institution.

Ambassador Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Azubuike representing the President of International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa, Bishop (Prof.) Onyekwere .J.O. emphasized the organization’s mission to collaborate with African governments to support human rights and development projects.

He called for support to build an enabling environment for women, children, and society at large, focusing on women empowerment, youth empowerment, education, and health.

 

The community appealed to the government of Ghana to work hand in hand with International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa to develop the entire country and solve minor challenges in surrounding areas.

Some members of the IHRO present include H.E. Bishop (Prof. ) Onyekwere J.O.-President IHRO Africa, DG WEU IHRO Africa- Hon. (Prof.) Gladys Onyekwere, Hon. Prop. Dr. Israel Tetteh Ashiley- National President Ghana IHRO Africa, National President Ghana WEU IHRO Africa-Mrs. Oliver Ashiley, Brand Ambassador in Diaspora IHRO Africa- Hon. Apostle Dandy Uchechukwu.

Others present from the community include: Nii Asuku Nortse l. Mampehia chief, Nii Allotey Edward – Ashifla Mankrado, Nii Ofei Nkwantabisa lV, Hon. Martin H. Macadu, Asafoatse Oduro- mampehia, Nii Ampofo Osei, Nii Akoamoa, Nii Oshipi, seitse mampehia, Okyeame Abraham ,Okyeame Osei ,Able Muhammad Yepi.
