Reaction from Family
A younger brother of Macho Kaaka has revealed that his deceased sibling was never a member of the group fixthecountry.
In an interview conducted by Umaru Sanda Amadu of Citi FM’s Eyewitness News monitored by MyAbcLive.com, the brother stated that his brother was not part of the group.
The group, after the reported demise of Kaaka, has written a release, castigating the Police of negligence in his death.
The group, from the above, is gallivanting from one corner to another scouting and fishing for people who have been beset by one tragedy or the other and claim same for themselves.
Kaaka’s sad event is believed to have been caused by some unknown elements in the Ejura area.
As the Police is yet to establish what might have caused this tragedy, the fixthecountry campaigners have issued a statement, as already indicated, saying his advocacy for the group has led to his gruesome murder.
When he was yet to be declared dead, one of the fixthecountry leaders wrote on his Facebook wall that he had been beaten up because his advocacy was hurting the Akufo-Addo administration.
The person also alleged that the gentleman, now deceased, reported some threats he received from some unknown people in the zone but instead of the police going after those who might have threatened him, they rather wrote a letter cautioning him.
He emphasized that his brother was never a member of any fixthecountry group.
The brother also indicated that the letter written to him by the police was unrelated to the alleged threats he received and that it was about a problem he had with the police.
These events are testament to the fact that the gentleman’s death, as unfortunate as it is, has no bearing whatsoever with the group fixthecountry. He has never been a member and he was never warned by the police because of his so-called advocacy, according to his own brother.
MyAbcLive.com entreats the Police to intensify their investigations into those who might have killed Kaaka and bring them to book.
