The two persons who showed up at an ongoing NPP Constituency Executive Election dressed to create the impression that, they were Police Personnel at the Okaikoi South Constituency have been remanded to reappear on 10th May, 2022.
The two accused persons, John Essel Baah and Enock Kwame Bosompem, were arraigned before court on 29th April 2022.
A third suspect, Ebenezer Painstil who was later arrested was also put before the court and has been remanded to also reappear with the other accused persons on 10th May, 2022.
According to a press release signed by the Director- General of Public Affairs, DCOP Kwesi Ofori, the two suspects, John Essel Baah and Enoch Kwame Bosompem were spotted at the constituency where the election was held.
The release also stated that, the two suspects, John Essel Baah and Enoch Kwame Bosompem are not Police Officers but rather fraudsters.
