Court remands man who assaulted colleague at workplace in Nkawkaw

Nkawkaw District Court in the Eastern Region of Ghana has remanded a man identified to be Ayivor Elikplim after he assaulted a female colleague worker.

Nkawkaw District Court in the Eastern Region of Ghana has remanded a man identified to be Ayivor Elikplim after he assaulted a female colleague worker.

A widely circulated video on social media earlier this week showed Elikplim beating the lady, named Martha Adutwumwaa to a pulp following an alleged misunderstanding over GHS90.00.

Following the incident, he was arrested and arraigned before court and convicted on his own plea of guilty and remanded into police custody to re-appear on 28th June 2024.

However, after his appearance in court today, his sentence has been deferred to Tuesday 2nd July 2024.
