CSquared, a leading provider of wholesale digital infrastructure, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ghana’s digital transformation through strategic partnerships with the government.
In a courtesy visit to the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP), the company explored opportunities for collaboration to enhance the country’s telecommunications landscape.
The West Africa Regional Director of CSquared, Estelle Akofio-Sowah, led the delegation and made a presentation outlining potential areas of partnership. She emphasized CSquared’s expertise in wholesale internet services, fiber-optic networks, and digital infrastructure solutions—key components that align with the Ministry’s vision for a robust and inclusive digital ecosystem in Ghana.
Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP) welcomed the engagement, stressing the crucial role of private sector partnerships in achieving national digitalization goals. He highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for telecom businesses while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
“As Minister, I am committed to ensuring that businesses in the telecom sector demonstrate a clear commitment to bridging the digital divide. I expect to see tangible evidence of this commitment, whether through investments in rural connectivity, digital literacy programs, or other initiatives,” Hon. George stated.
He further called for increased investment in digital infrastructure to strengthen Ghana’s telecom sector and accelerate nationwide connectivity.
The meeting marked a significant step toward deepening ties between CSquared and the Ministry, with the potential to drive innovation and expansion in Ghana’s digital economy.
