The Ministry of the Interior has revised curfew hours in Bole Township and its environs in the Savannah Region, effective Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Under the new directives, the curfew will run from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., following advice from the Regional Security Council.

Government has urged chiefs, opinion leaders, youth, and residents to exercise restraint and resolve challenges in the area through non-violent means.

As part of the restrictions, residents are reminded of a total ban on firearms and offensive weapons, a prohibition on two or more persons riding motorbikes, and a ban on wearing war regalia throughout the day.

Authorities have warned that anyone found violating these directives will be arrested and prosecuted.
