Davida Roofing Systems, one of Ghana’s leading roofing companies, teamed up with Jayana Music to donate food items to the Ghana Police Service at the Tulaku Police Station.
The gesture, spearheaded by Mr. David Kwame Aziago, CEO of Davida Roofing Systems, was aimed at supporting the police in their efforts to maintain peace and security during the festive season and beyond.
The donated items included 25-kilogram bags of rice, cartons of one-liter cooking oil, tins of tomato paste, and other essential food supplies.
Explaining the motivation behind the initiative, Mr. Aziago noted that the donation went beyond corporate social responsibility.
“This symbolizes our unwavering support for the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our community and ensuring peace,” he said.
Mr. Aziago also praised the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the officers at Tulaku for their commitment to swift responses and ensuring public safety.
Jayana, a celebrated gospel artist and the daughter of the late Bishop Augustine Annor-Yeboah, highlighted the importance of recognizing the efforts of law enforcement.
“We appreciate your dedication and hard work. This is our way of saying we see your good deeds, and we stand behind you,” she remarked.
Receiving the items on behalf of his team, ASP Williams Aware, the Station Officer at Tulaku Police Station, expressed profound gratitude to the donors.
“This kind gesture will greatly motivate our officers to continue working tirelessly to protect lives and property in our area,” he stated.
Davida Roofing Systems has a history of community support, including contributing materials worth GHC 450,000 for renovation projects at the UNMISS GH 11 Battle Training Camp in Bundase and the Mepe Resettlement Project. The company views community engagement as a cornerstone of its values.
