As election 2024 becomes crucial for the two major political institutions in Ghana, strategies to win power from the incumbent intensify from the opposition party.

However, with both parties having their new leadership from Northern Ghana, and as usual, these two heavyweights are expected to select their running mate and a possible Veep from the down south. The Ashanti region, tipped to be a major election decider for the New Patriotic Party is keenly levelling grounds to have one of their own chosen for the second top job position in the country.
