Dream Shapers Foundation has honoured Wear Ghana Ambassador, and CEO of Street Fashion Train Foundation, Mr Benjamin Kojo Mills popularly known as Mr Wear Ghana.
The citation of appreciation was presented to him due to his immense effort in promoting the Ghanaian culture, and his participation as a speaker in an event organised by the NGO that saw the likes of Hon. Dr Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings, Actor Fiifi Coleman, Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020 gracing the occasion.
Mr Wear Ghana expressed his excitement and thanked the Coordinator, Mr Richard Mawunyo Mensah who made the presentation on behalf of the Foundation.
For those who do not know about Dream Shapers Foundation, it is a Non-Governmental Organisation that has completed over 20 philanthropic projects across Ghana and beyond in the areas of Education, Health, Women empowerment, and Donation of life-support materials.
Through their passion for humanity and society, some of the projects carried out include the renovation of a clinic, training 100s of women in the making of hand sanitisers, liquid soap, and pastries for these young women to have an avenue to start their businesses.
Additionally, the NGO trains men in the fixing of TV antennas. In the area of Health, the Foundation has done a marvellous job by screening thousands of persons in both rural and urban communities in various ailments which include but are not limited to malaria, breast cancer, hypertension and sugar.
NGOs in Ghana conduct various philanthropic projects to augment the activities of the government for a better environment. As such, Dream Shaoers Foundation, being in existence for more than five years has built its credibility through the many lives they have touched and collaborations with known institutions in Ghana including Pharmanova Ltd among others.
In the coming years, they sought to work more with government bodies and private organisations to improve educational facilities with the aid of donor agencies to create a conducive academic environment for Children. Also, they call on health agencies to help expand their impact through collaborations.
They seek to organise next years’ International Day of the African Child in a grand style which would involve other African countries.
Mr Wear Ghana remarked that it’s worth supporting an NGO of this calibre.
