The Welfare Director of the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), Mr Benjamin Yeboah has called on the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Energy Ministry to provide them with a “Dumsor” timetable to help them regulate their businesses.

Mr Benjamin Yeboah added that the issue of taxation is also affecting their operations hence leadership of GUTA are in strong consultation with all the vibrant presidential candidates ahead of the upcoming general elections to ensure the outrageous taxes are attenuated.

He emphasized that Mr. John Dramani Mahama, Alan Kyeremanteng and Dr Mahamud Bawumia have all promised to ensure the success of businesses in the country hence leaders of GUTA are working tirelessly to ensure all promises made by these candidates are well documented as part of their manifesto for the sake of references when any of them assume office as the president of Ghana.
