A 19-year-old SHS leaver, Esther Boakye has allegedly murdered her 7-month-old baby girl in cold blood.

According to a neighbour who lives with the suspect at Abesewa – Beposo, a suburb in Dunkwa-on-Offin, miss Boakye gave birth 7-months ago before sitting for her 2022 WASSCE exam is seriously entangled with a young man in Buabenso, another town outskirt Dunkwa. He disclosed to myrepubliconline.com Andy Frimpong Manso that, Esther Boakye has refused to have time and cater for her child after her ailing mother had looked over the child for months.

According to the insider, the family was expecting her to resume her motherly duties after completing her exam.

He said that after a series of discussions and advice with Esther, Esther fled to Buabenso to stay with her newly found boyfriend.

The insider disclosed that the family then followed up to Buabenso where the mother of her supposed new boyfriend told them to return to Dunkwa and that she’d return her including the 7 months baby to the house.

He noted that Esther Boakye returned to the house alone without the child. Upon suspicions of possible neglect of the baby, he said, they interrogated her while refusing to disclose the child’s whereabouts.

According to him, Esther Boakye told them she has given the baby to her Aunty in Sehwi, saying that when she was ready, she will take them to the Aunty to retrieve the baby.

He added that answers from the 19-year-old mother, now suspect, did not match up with them.

The insider further added that they began to smell an unending scent within their enclave which prompted her mother to search through a 12-feet refuse dumping site where the 7 months baby was discovered in a black polyester bag with its head damaged beyond recognition, suggesting allegedly that she may have hit the baby’s head on the ground several times before she died.

A report was immediately filed at the Dunkwa – Atekyem police station where she was arrested and currently assisting police in the investigation.

Further checks done by this medium indicate that the suspect, Esther Boakye murdered her child on Christmas Eve, December 25th, 2022 and was caught a week later, Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Myrepubliconline.com can authoritatively confirm that the supposed boyfriend of Esther Boakye has also been arrested to assist in investigations as a police suspect, he may have influenced Esther to commit such a heinous crime against her own child.
