A 22-year-old man, identified as Bismark Tetteh, was found dead on a network tower guide pole at Atobriso, a community in the Kwaebibirem Municipal District of the Eastern Region.
According to reports, the deceased had been battling mental health challenges for some time. His family had made efforts to seek treatment, but their attempts were unsuccessful.
Speaking to the media, former Assemblyman and relative of the deceased, Hon. James Akweteh Dapaah, confirmed the tragic incident.
He stated that the family discovered Bismark’s lifeless body early Sunday morning on the guide poles of a telecom tower in the area.
The police have since retrieved the body and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
