A 29-year-old man, Kofi Owusu, has died following a tragic motorcycle accident at Akyem Boadua in the Denkyembour District of the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 30, 2025, along a sharp curve at a location popularly known as Pentem Twam.
Eyewitnesses report that Kofi Owusu was traveling from Anyinam to Akyem Boadua when he attempted to overtake another vehicle at the curve.
Unfortunately, his motorcycle collided with a car in front of him, leading to fatal injuries.
This tragic incident marks the second fatal accident at the same spot in less than a week. On April 27, 2025, a Toyota Corolla with registration number GN 1750-22 was also involved in a serious crash at the Pentem Twam curve.
