At least, thirty (30) NDC members in the Abirem Constituency have defected to the ruling New Patriotic Party.
The branch chairman for the Abirem NDC, Mr. Issah, who represented the other members stated that their defection to the NPP is by unanimous decision, backed by the unprecedented performance of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He said Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ideas and visions for Ghana outweigh any other contender in this year’s December 7 polls.
“We’ve weighed the two major candidates in this year’s election, undoubtedly, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ideas and visions surpass all of them and that’s the reason we decided to join the Flagbearer train”,
