The Nkawkaw High Court in the Eastern Region has convicted three (3) constituency executives of Kwahu Afram Plains North NDC and a Regional Director of Elections for going against the court order.
The executives are Galinor Prosper, also constituency chairman of the NDC in Kwahu Afram Plains North. Others are Taidu Mohamed, constituency secretary, Senyo Philip Adinkra, constituency organizer and Alhaji Sumaila Mahama, who was the Eastern Regional Director of Elections for the NDC.
The high court judge, Her Lordship Mrs. Cynthia Martinson, who presided over the case, sentenced the four leaders of the NDC to 10 days in prison.
Upon several pleas, she converted the custodial sentence to a fine of GHs 2,500 cedis each.

The High Court in Nkawkaw placed an injunction on the constituency elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kwahu Afram Plains North constituency of the Eastern Region.
Accordingly, the court presided over by her ladyship Cynthia Martinson restrained the constituency executives from conducting the elections as scheduled.
