The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency, Davis Opoku Ansah has confirmed that works will soon begin on the Bepong to Ntomem road.
In an interview with Republic FM on Monday, February 14, 2022, the MP said the feeder road project would have the scope of work by the close of the week.
He noted that the previous delays was due to inadequate financial disbursement to oversee the project come to reality.
“Last week, we met with the feeder roads, and the roads ministry, the Deputy Minister and we came to consensus on how best we can complete the project.
As we speak now, the contractor is on the site with three excavators clearing the road, and hopefully, the road authorities will be here by next week to complete the valuation”, he said.
However, the MP could not disclose the timeline for the project but insisted that the completion period will be given after the valuation.
According to the MP, the various estimates will be taken by the road officials to ensure that Bepong town roads are awarded to contractors.
